General description
Described as a striated version of D. brandisii – seems to mature somewhat smaller than brandisii. Large leaves and yellow or cream striped culms. An interesting ornamental bamboo species. It grows up to a height of 30 m. It’s a beautiful bamboo with good timber and edible shoots. It has green culms with yellow striations, large leaves, and slightly arching culms.
